All day I have been craving Texas sheet cake. I had hoped I could crash through my regular workaday responsibilities and then whip up a Bundt version of this childhood favorite of mine. But alas, it’s 100 degrees out AND we’re heading to Portland in the morning, and so reason prevailed. But this. Look at this Kahlua Chocolate Bundt Cake. Maybe it doesn’t seem like the most seasonally appropriate thing in the middle of July, but I ask you: Is there a season when chocolate is not perfectly suitable? I thought not.
